"I had the privilege of working with Miss Tatiana from the age of seven until I left town for college. I loved every minute of it, always looking forward to my next lesson. She is a masterful teacher, simultaneously warm and inspiring while keeping her students engaged and honest about the hard work. 

She imparts the piano skills but also the understanding and love of music, giving her students a soul-enriching gift for the rest of their lives. While this is plentiful reward on its own, many of us also enjoyed external recognition: as laureate of various international solo and duet competitions, I got to perform in winners’ recitals on some of the world’s prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Concertgebouw, Salzburg Mozarteum, and the seats of the Paris, Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics. 

Despite my pursuing a STEM major in college, the acceptance letters from selective schools (including Stanford, Harvard and Caltech) highlighted being impressed with my piano portfolio. I miss our weekly lessons and I am looking forward to visiting Miss Tatiana on school breaks. "
